Sewage Project for PM Group, Poland

PM Group and Wrocław-based Ekocentrum will be technical consultants for the local authorities in Ruda Śląska on the city's sewage treatment project.

The project is worth 43.7 million euros, including a 28.4-million-euro subsidy from the European Union's Cohesion Fund. As part of the project, the Halemba Centrum sewage treatment plant has already been built and the Orzegów sewage treatment plant has been modernized. The two plants are waiting for technical approval and will serve 110,000 residents. Also, a sewage network will be built in the city and four inoperational sewage treatment plants will be dismantled. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2009.
