The area is extremely quiet being approximately 3 miles off the main road from Russe to Varna. It is an area with low hills, a small river curving among them, several small and medium size lakes suitable for fishing, surfing or other water sports, nice forests - good for hunting of deer, wild boar, birds, or just walking and going for a picnic among the nature. A golf course will be constructed in the area in the next 2 - 3 years only 10 miles away from the village. The roads are accessible all year long and there are easy connections by bus and train towards Russe, Razgrad and other major cities in Bulgaria. It takes an hour (hour and a half max) to get to Varna airport and the sea coast. It is 15 minutes drive to Russe - a big administrative and trade center situated on the Danube river.
The village is a medium size one with approximately 1000 people living there. The people are very friendly and helpful. There are about 20 other English speaking people that already own properties in the village and two or three of them are living permanently there. There are the municipality, two shops, school and medical center. Two miles from the village is Tzar Kaloyan - nearest town with shops, police and other amenities.
The property is a huge building that has been a school. It was built in 1933 on two floors. The overall built space is about 1 000 sq. m. per floor, plus an additional building next to it used as a sport facility. It has been regularly maintained but at the moment it will need repairs. Structurally the whole building is in very good condition. The inside could be divided into smaller rooms according to the needs. The building is connected to water mains and electricity.
