Popular, calm place at the entrance of the Őrség national park. Frist mention in documents in 1258. At the beginning of the ridge of Vas stood the medieval castle of the Csányi family, which used in the Turk war as fortress. The Himfa park forest is with its 12ha large lake is one of the particularly protect-worth areas of the national park.
