The ski chalet is set in the Nature Park of Mavrovo. 1 hour by car to Capitall City of Skopje. Good public services, hospital, shops. The Mavrovo ski centre is in 1200 m height, fresh air, skiing in winter, mountain biking, walking and fishing in the summer. Low traffic, low crime, secure site.

Mavrovo is a new holiday hotspot and now money is being invested to turn it into an all year round holiday destination. In winter you can ski down the slopes of Bistra Mountain at the Mavrovo Ski Centre and in the summer you can enjoy the open spaces of Mavrovo Natural Park.

The length of the chair lifts is 4800m with a capacity of 1900 person per hour. Skiing is possible from 1255m to 1860m above sea level. The length of the ski lifts is 5700m with a capacity of 10.100 skiers per hour.

The open season for fishing on the Mavrovo Lake is from 1 February through to 30 October. Another opportunity for fishing is the Radika river, only 12km. away from Mavrovo. You also have the opportunity to visit the Monastery of St.Jovan Bigorski 20 km. away from Mavrovo. The Monastery was built in 1020.
You can also visit the town of Ohrid, 100km. south of Mavrovo. This beautiful town, rich with cultural and historical monuments, has 365 churches, with a clean ecological environment. The Ohrid lake is of a world importance, a rare natural museum, rich with flora and fauna. Ohrid and the Ohrid Lake are under protection of UNESCO.
